Even using an approach as the CIbD, ignore the BP facets and their stakeholders can lead CI projects to failure. Business Analytics (BA) can be a systematized alternative for organizations to expand from Business Intelligence (BI) to BA, directing them to data-driven decision-making, becoming the CI more assertive.  BA focuses on developing new insights and understanding of business performance based on data and statistical methods. It involves skills, technologies, and practices for continuous iterative exploration and investigation of past business performance to drive BP in a CI way. BI includes the strategies and technologies used by the organization for the data analysis of business information, which is focused on description.
